 I've heard satellite is not super reliable, & that p2p is more difficult on satellite. They often have bandwidth restrictions for p2p use. I earlier found this info on satellite usage: http://vtruralbroadband.com/about-broadband.html Talk to your isp provider about this issue. Ask if they shape the network for p2p programs, or block ports, etc.  |
