Default Connection Problem?? Not sure

Hello,
I have had some weird problems with Limewire since I moved about 2 weeks ago.

I can connect and download however I lose the connections often (sometimes it is still downloading when it says disconnected). I cannot search when it is disconneted.

I have been through this forum and done everything that has been listed for connection problems(deleting the pref directory, opening the ports, updated Java what have you) the problem is still the same.

I went from a very fast connection to a satellite connection. Could this be teh problem? And if so is there something I can do?

Thanx in advance

-Phad

I've heard satellite is not super reliable, & that p2p is more difficult on satellite. They often have bandwidth restrictions for p2p use. I earlier found this info on satellite usage: http://vtruralbroadband.com/about-broadband.html

Talk to your isp provider about this issue. Ask if they shape the network for p2p programs, or block ports, etc.
