![]() Hello everyone. I hope here someone could helpme to solve this problem. To be able to use Limewire I have to set it up in my router LINKSYS but i have no idea how. Withinthe system program, there is a window called application and gaming. I guessed I have to set up something here. I've got then 3 possibilities : Port Range Forwarding Port Triggering UPnP Forwarding DMZ In the able UnPnP (I dont know why i think i have to do something here) they ask me that : " To add a server using forwarding: Enter an Application name of the service you want to forward. Enter the Ext.Port number. Check with your service application needed for External Port used. Select the Protocol used by the services. Enter the Int.Port number used by the application. Enter the IP Address of the server that you want the Internet users to access. Select Enable for that entry. Click the Save Settings button to save the settings " If someone knows if I have to do that and if so, what i have to write in this boxes, could he let me know. I look forward to having an answer. Thanks a lot nathan |

![]() UPnP is preferable or easiest; instructions can be found here Connection problems? Check here first! (click on link) But manual port forwarding is generally more reliable. Instructions also in the link I gave you. Also http://linksys.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/...type=search_nl & static ip here http://linksys.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/...TVUxMA**&p_li= but better here for port forwarding http://portforward.com/routers.htm |
