Default MAJOR problem...

Hey guys,

I was on LimeWire... and I downloaded an "MP3 to WAV Converter" and LimeWire prompted me before downloading it. Saying that it MAY be a virus because it's an .exe. Well, anyways I've never had problems with virus' before.

But I believe I have one. First of all, the MP3 converter is nowhere to be seen. All that remains in my Library is a folder named "_" ...I cannot delete this folder. All I can do to this folder is "launch" it, and when I do it has an .exe program called "zxzxzxzxzx" or something. When I click this file it says, "The setup has been corrupted".

I believe it's a virus. I ran a virus check and it doesnt find anything though. Plus, LimeWire will NOT shut down. It always pops up when I start my PC up (even though I clicked for it not to), and when I do shut it down... it pops right back up again almost.

I un-installed it. But it kept opening again and again. Except it would say, "Some files missing." and give me an error report to send to "bug@limewire.com".

I believe there's either a virus in my registry or something.

Plus, the WORST thing is my "Control + Alt + Delete" action doesnt work now!! and without this... I'm doomed!

Can anyone help, or has anyone experienced similar difficulties?
