Default Connected, but no search results. Please Help!!

I am connected to Limewire with all four bars, and I have windows firewall disabled. I can search and get results fine for a few minutes, and then it just quits. I may get one or two results where I would have gotten 100 or so. For instance, a search for "beatles" brings up about 80 files. That is way less than normal. As far as my ISP, I go back and forth between a university network and my home cable provider, but until recently i have never had problems with either one. I have installed the 4226 error patch, because I noticed that was a problem, and before that I restored my computer back to the last time I remember Limewire working. PLEASE HELP!! This is driving me crazy. Thanks in advance for your responses.

Default I seem to be having the same problem

Limewire opens but it doesn't search the way it usually does. Actually it does search but I get no results. I am getting a message that says "Limewire is currently connecting to the network. Your search may not return many results until you are fully connected to the network". Have never seen this message before yesterday, and have never had a problem before this. Have no idea what to do so any help will be greatly appreciated.

I've experienced that LW sometimes needs some time to settle down (can last from 5 - 60 min.) before you've got an excellent connection (or even turbo charged, if you use LW pro). Everything below that connection (such as "good connection', "fair connection", or 'poor connection") doesn't bring a lot (not to say none) results.

Cheers
Mario

This is completely different than my problem. I am definitely fully connected to the network, I just can get any results.

Hvae you tried to close LW (completely, means also in the system tray) and then delete the " .limewire " folder (which should be in the same folder as your WINDOWS folder (if I remember correctly) ??? That seems to be a common advice here from the moderators and that normaly solves some 'strange behavior' problems like yours.

Cheers
Mario

I have tried everything I could find on this site, that's why I'm posting this thread. I am fully connected to the network, and have no problem downloading those few files I can find. I just can't find any search results.
