Cannot connect at work

Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network. (not about connecting to files, that is a Download/Upload Problems section issue.) Please supply system details as described in the forum rules.

Cannot connect at work

Hi folks. I did some searching but couldn't find anything of value.

I am trying to connect with Limewire while I am at work. I BELIEVE we have a pretty simple network setup, and I have no reason to believe we have Limewire blocked. I have never had any trouble downloading and never found a blocked website (and I've looked

).

I was able to download and install LW just fine, but when I launch it, it simply never connects. It stays with the "connecting to network" prompts.

I am assuming there is something I can do, problem is I don't know much about the magic ports and all that good stuff.

I am running XP Pro and.. uhh.. that's about all the information I really know.
