Cannot connect, although i use school's internet
 

i cannot conect, my problem is most likely that i use my college's internet but it is my own computer so there should not be a problem fixing the problem....

i use windows xp and LimeWire beta

Do you have a firewall set up. If you do what is it and do you have it configgured.

i have windows firewall

in the configuring part i added the port but i could not add the ip address, how do i do that with windows firewall?

did you go to control panel->security center-> windows firewall-> exceptions and allow Limewire

never mind that, i just noticed what i thought was a full red, actually had one sliver of green, so does that mean i actually am connected?
