I Need Major Help; Optimum Online
 

i cannnot get connect, my internet is connected (i have optimum online) i took of my firewall and im still not able to connect. i followed the FAQ and it still didnt help. i uninstalled limewire, still didnt work.......what do i do to get connect again?

It's Optimum Online, not Limewire.
Where are you located? It looks like NYC is affected. My friends in Long Island are still up and running.
You may want to try SecureIX. It is difficult to get a connection, but when you do, everything works well.

No wonder. I was having the same exact problem. Also in NYC, and have optimum. i've tired SecureIX, but it doesn't seem to be working for some reason.

definately a nyc issue. my friend in long island as well has his limewire running fine on his Optimum Online with the 50% upgrade. im tired of reading these "fixes" on how to get it working because it never works for me or anyone else really. seems like the only one that could fix this is Optimum Online themselves. its just weird how it could work in long island and not the city.
