ILIKECHEESE is flying high
Default Unable to download Movies

I am able to download MP3 and other audio file successfully using Limewire but I am unable to download any movies of any types. Movies small enough as 5MB to movies large enough to 500MB. The only thing it says is "connecting...". I guess that it was sort of slow on connecting so I wait patiently, however, I have waited as long as 30min and still no download. I've look in other threads and in the FAQ but still no answer. Help please.

Thanks In Advance

Some videos dont work at all for a while. I'd try downloading a movie from someone in your connections and see if that works. If it does, keep trying with others. If not, theres something wrong.

The files are probably either fake or corrupt or they might not be available at that time. Try using Bitzi Web Lookup to see if anyone has rated the file before you try to d/l it.

Try d/ling a video from here http://www.magnetmix.com/video.shtml. They're legal to d/l. Just click on a link and it will d/l in LW. If you can d/l audio files you should be able to d/l video.

There are a lot of fake/corrupt files being shared on the network. You can find info in this sticky: Major Topics for Upload/Download Help. What type of files are you trying to d/l? For video I stick to mpg/mpeg and avi. They seem to be the best quality and more reliable. Hope this helps.
