Please Help!!!

Hi all!
Excuse my noob talk here but i was wondering if someone could give me some advice and help on a problem im having?. For a good couple of months now no downloaders (File Sharing) or whatever they are called these days dont seem to work for example Bearshare, Limewire, Kazaa, Morpheus you name it and they dont work ive tryed every file sharing program.
The problem is for a couple of months now non of those mentioned seem to be conecting to "Hosts" and if the file does then it only connects to like for example 1 host out of 300 and the file takes about 200 days to 900 days to a freaking year to download and im talking just a normal sized mp3 file, even right this second im downloading the limewire online installer and its only conecting to "2 sources out of 1234".
All the time now i write in a name of an popular music artist for example "eminem" in the search bar on any file sharing program and i only ever get about 20 mp3 files pop up when i know for a fact theres a good 900 files out there of the certain artist. I just really need some help becouse these programs never used to do this! its only started about 2-3 months ago and no file sharing programs will work due to lack of hosts available to download from even when i restart or reboot my pc to start over the file sharing programs still do the exact same thing.
