 No Connection: Can it Work on Sattleite?? It was fine before, but when I switched from cable to satelite, there is no connection. Not a firewall problem, I can turn it off and it still wont work. Can it work???? Please help. Also not only on my computer: but every single computer in my house. Used to work fine before. The fiewall allows Limewire to pass throught. Also any P2P software wont work. Is it a satelitle problem??  |

| Probably more like an ISP problem. See http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...ight=satellite In fact, if use the search button above & type in satellite, you'll get a lot of results. Satellite per se is not necessarily the problem. The question is whether p2p use is being controlled due to the high bandwidth it uses. However, some satellite set ups may have their own hardware firewalls. I think I remember someone saying they could downld but not upload on their particular set up. |
