You can try the options here Fix for opening Limewire "Fatal Error Message" But that's basically similar to doing the steps listed here Fixes for Limewire, except I'm not so sure having to versions of Java is a good idea as the 1st suggestion above suggests. |
im having trouble with my limewire everytime i get on it says fatal error and i already tried everything |
Well one suggestion is to change compatibility mode to win 2k, another not mentioned is to try win NT. Also, try uninstalling all your Java versions & reinstalling using ONLY the Offline version JRE. Use the link I gave above. But I would recommend deleting your LW prefs folder between each attempt at opening LW!!! BTW depending on your graphic card, switch AA to application controlled. |
i changed the compatibility to win 2k and i uninstall all the javas and install all the offline javas and i delet the .limewhere file and it still doesnt work |
thanks thanks to lord of the ring with his wonderful help i was able to fix my limewire |
