![]() Ok, so about 2 months ago, my Limewire would not connect. I read through what seemed like thousands of posts and I thought it was probably Optimum Online. I called them and whoever I talked to told me to set my port to any number between 51000 and 65000. I did so, it worked like a charm, and I posted a thread to let everyone know. Apparently, it worked for many of you. My problem NOW is that the connection is gone again! I tried changing my ports again to a different number between 51000 and 65000 and still NOTHING. I called Optimum Online again, and they ensured me that they are not blocking ports, as did the guy 2 months ago...although he helped me MUCH more than the guy I talked to today. Does anyone have a solution to this? As I said, the port change thing worked 2 months ago and was the ONLY thing that worked and now the problem is back. It is not my firewall. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated...PLEASE ![]() |
