why can i not connect with my static IP even after opening the port. i have a linksys router and i opened my port for Utorrent and that works fine. why wont limewire? it doesnt even connect. thanks in advance!

Have you added a port for LimeWire in your router. From you post it says you opened a port for Utorrent each application needs it's own port

i did indeed open up a seperate port for limewire. its in the 50,000 range, i forget the exact number.

what is really odd about it, is that after opening the port for limewire, it still doesnt connect but NOW i have an all new interface and new start up "load" screen as well. quite odd....


id really like to be able to connect to limewire, its a integral part of my computer usage.

Did you change the port in LimeWire also.
