Default file delivery

hi
ive got a folder in documents that Ive used for
limewire in the past

I logged onto limewire today and it said that
the destination file was invalid

I went to tools etc and went to browse etc
picked out the folder

then a window came up, you might not have permission
to use this folder etc

anyway i went ahead and downloaded about 3 songs

but they did nt appear in the usual folder

any idea where they might be ?

any idea why lime wire won t go to the usual folder ?

When in LimeWire click on Tools>Options>Saving. Now look at the folder(s) that your files are being sent to. If it is not the folder that you want then click on browse and search for the folder you do want. Then click apply at the bottom right hand corner and then click OK which is just to left of it. This should fix it. However if the folder is already the correct one then you may have to delete your LimeWire preferences folder. Check out Points 2 and 3 here.

Default thanks

thanks for the help

I think I must have some privacy setting that
is stopping limewire going to the folder in
my documents the one it has used before

I know I downloaded about 5 songs and I finally tracked
them down by going to

documents then
other places
my computor
hdd (c)
then programmes folder
then limewire and the songs were in there

I must have clicked some privacy setting in the past
but i cant remember where it is
prob on the control panel somewhere !
