How to access an old account?
 

Hi I am actually asking this for my son. He had bought and paid for Limewire last year and then his computer crashed. He forgot all his info as it was stored on the computer.

Is there someway he can recover it on the site?
I have downloaded limewire basic on my computer, but he wants to know if he can access his account on my computer. We see no need to pay for it again when it was already paid for. All help is greatly appreciated!!

After you buy LimeWire Pro you can only recieve free updates for six months. You'll have to buy Pro again if you wish to download the latest version. Good luck!

You can use the version you have for as long as you like. But if you've lost it, then you can get another copy "if" your pro was purchased less than 6 months ago. I always make backups of each version. Around the end of the 6 month period, you can repurchase pro at a discount. If you still have the active email account then check here.

He doesn't remember the address, but sounds like it wouldn't do any good since it has been a year.
