Another option I've just thought about would be to check whether UPnP is enabled in the router instead of disabling the firewall switch to "full":

upnp config

Configure the UPnP™ parameter(s).
SYNTAX:

upnp config

[maxage = <number{60-999999}>]

[writemode = <{full | natonly | readonly}>]

[safenat = <{disabled | enabled}>]

[preferredaddress = <ip-address>]

[httpport = <number{1-65535}>]

where:

maxage

A number between 60 and 999999.

This parameter allows to configure how often the SpeedTouch™ sends a notification message to advertise its presence as an Internet Gateway Device (IGD) on the network.

The default is 1800.
Note Setting this parameter to a low value will increase the number of packets sent over time on the network, but will make the state of the device more up to date.

OPTIONAL

writemode

Choose the set of rules to limit remote access from UPnP.

Choose between:

full: the host will accept all the UPnP SET and GET actions.

natonly: GET and NAT related SET actions will be accepted, all other actions will be ignored.

readonly: the UPnP control point will only be able to retrieve information, all the SET actions are ignored.

The default is natonly.

OPTIONAL

safenat

Enable or disable check on safe NAT entries.

If this check is enabled, all NAT create/delete requests for a LAN side IP address different from the source IP address of the UPnP message will be discarded.

The default is enabled.

OPTIONAL

preferredaddress

CSV list of preferred IP address for UPnP advertisements (1 per LAN IP interface).
Note Enter “0.0.0.0” for none.

OPTIONAL

httpport

A number between 1 and 65535.

Represents the web server port.

The default is 80.

You have to have Administrator rights to be able to switch it of

If you have no other firewall running now but XP-firewall then there is no need to switch it of. Just add you TCP and UDP ports (listening and forwarded port in Limewire which BTW should be the same port for this to work)

In my case portnumber is 64048 (it's Danish but the tabs should be in the same places)

Press the exeptions tab

Tilføj port = Add port

Do the same for UDP

lol

I didn't mean configure to the number I posted. That is my portnumber. I meant configure to the port you set for your Limewire. Oh well Then change the number in Limewire to 64048 as well. both set listening port to 64048 and choose manual portforward and type 64048 in there. Then press Apply and then OK

In Limewire choose Tools>Options>Advanced>Firewall Config

If it works then the wall should disappear

Also look in Example Bugreport

Tools>Options>Bug Reports and press view example

"Recieved Incoming This Session" should say true

Also "Port Stable" should say true
