![]() ok iam new to these forums so before i even start, sorry if i posted in the wrong place. i know thats very annoying. anyway i just re-downloaded limewire because i got a message saying i needed to upgrade, so i deleted limewire to get the new one ( i use basic...) once it was done i went to download some songs, every song started 2 connect and then it kept saying "Connecting..." till it said "Needs More Sources". I would wave this off but when the songs are popular i was kinda like wtf. please direct me to the right place 2 ask this question or please answer it for me. -Ryan Last edited by DKR; July 14th, 2006 at 09:14 PM. |

![]() Ryan, can you please edit out the artists & song titles? We're not allowed to mention specific files for copyright reasons ![]() Forum Rules Thanks! There are lots of fake files around now. They're typically new releases or really popular songs with heaps of sources (up to 100), they'll sit connecting for ages but never download. Stay away from files with huge numbers of sources, go for a file with around 10 sources or less. Search again & vary your search terms - look for artist or album rather than song title. Also try the All Types search ![]() |

![]() yes i figured this because like sometimes ill click to download something and it sends to a link to buy stuff. so i do use the files that have under 20 sources for that reason, this is happening with every file. -Ryan |
