 The wtf is wrong question I down loaded Limewire today, tried a search and find nothing then I get this ERROR: "LimeWire is currently connecting to the network. Your search may not return many results until you are fully connected to the network." So I came here and search for a solution and it turns out that my firewall is blocking the ISP or somthing because I also get this ERROR:"Your machine does not appear to have an active internet connection or a firewall is blocking Limewire from accesing the internet. LimeWire will automatically keep trying to connect you to the network unless you select "Disconnect" from the file menu." I know you all have probobly seen this same old thread a hundred times but I am really desperate and need your help, thank you  Last edited by cheuchi; July 24th, 2006 at 10:30 PM.  |

| You will have to configurate your firewall to allow LW access to the network; read here on how to do this: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showthread.php?t=51361 Regarding your general access problem to other websites, use the help function of your firewall to check on this....

| Check this thread out as it has advice about enabling UPnP and if that does not work you may have to Port Forward... http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=51357 If you do need to Port Forward Post back with the details of your modem and we can provide you with the link with all the instructions on how to do it...

| I've looked everywhere for that modem and all I come up with are sites to download Driver upgrades...What is the name of the company that makes the PCI SoftV92 ....
