No connection after a year

Ive had Limwire for about a year with no problems at all. Starting about 2 days ago, I can only get one green bar of connection. I tried what it says on the limwire help site but no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you need more info in order to help me. I will provide what I can. Im not incredibly smart with this stuff though

There have been a few people report this recently who is your ISP. They may have started blocking or filtering P2P apps. Also have you installed any new virus protection software or firewalls, or have you recently updated anything on your computer.

I can not find anything about your ISP blocking they even have a tutorial of how to set up and use bittorrent on their web site so I doubt they are blocking you. So we are going to need a little more info. If you could answer as many of the questions below as possible it would help.

Can you give us a total description of your set up:
1. OS version? (Eg: Windows 98)
2. What firewalls you have?
3. How much ram?
4. Hard Disk space available?
5. Connection type? (Eg: dialup, broadband, cable, etc.)
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers?
7. Where are you trying to connect from (home, school, work, etc.)?
8. What version of Limewire (LW) & Java do you have? (Go to LW's menu Help>About LW...) Will show both LW & Java version.
9. Who is your ISP provider? ( AOL/MSN/Comcast/Tiscal)
10. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? If yes, please give details of set up.
11. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there?
These details are vital if you want us to find out what your connection problem is.

* Did you configure your firewall so it allows LW full access (advisable not to have 2 active firewalls b/c they can interfere with each other. http://www.limewire.com/english/content/firewalls.shtml

12. Do This test, Is the result True/False?

13. Do a speed test post the results here.

Well it appears port 6346 is being blocked by your ISP that is why you had to remove the 6346. Try using higher port # between 50,000 and 60,000 see if that helps.

run a ccleaner [download one from download.com] do a spyware scan and a antivirus scan and then defrag it might work.

ok ill run a scan and defrag..I dont know much about ports. How do I use a different one?

My ISP is also WIN.
I upgraded to LimeWire PRO 4.12.3 about a week ago; & ever since the upgrade, it will not connect.

That is to of you with the same ISP both having the same problem and superfly85 says this test doesn't work http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ unless he removes the 6346 so that says it is being blocked. And since you both have the same ISP my guess would be they are blocking LimeWire.
