Default cant connect, "limewire was unable to set up a port for incoming connections"

this is the message that it gives me. ive done all the things that the support thing tells me to do. ive turned off all firewalls and any sort of internet security. it doesnt let me connect. i dont understand whats going on here.

Make sure that you're only using 1 software firewall & that it's configured properly. It's better to have a configured firewall than to run without one!

If you still have trouble, post your details

OS(Win XP etc)
LW & Java version (help > about LW & you'll see)
Firewall you're using
Modem/router brand & model
ISP
Connection type (DSL etc)
Where you connect from (home, school etc)
Are you sharing a connection with other computers
Is this your first try with LW

Besides that it is not advisable to run more than one firewall, you should also rather configure your firewall than turning it off, since there will still be some processes running in the background that might prevent LW from setting up a port.

thank you, the nvidia firewall was what was screwing it up.

Unhappy not enough sources, is what comes up

this is what happens when I try to download music, it's very frustrating to get not enough sources. reply
