Not sure if connection problem??!?!?
 

Hi all,
New to limewire and wondered if anyone can help.
From time to time I have lost my connection, it has re connected on its own. However when its re connected, the task bar on the bottom shows that Limewire has not detected a firewall???? No idea why as I'm running norton 10 and the firewall is up and running, well.......... hope it is! :bangh: Can anyone help pls???

This can happen if you're over-working LW. eg: If you resume or find sources on too many files at one time, it can affect LW's connection. If you're going to use those functions, use them on just 1-3 files at a time. Otherwise it uses up too much of LW's resources & can kill its connection. It can also affect its communication with your modem/router which is probably why the brick wall appeared.

Although nothing was said about freezing, I otherwise think it was the same as my problem. Thanks for the advice.
