Connection keeps getting lost
 

Everytime I have Limewire open for a few minutes or so, my internet disconnects . I've tried a ton of stuff suggested on the forum, but it's not working out. I'm running on Windows XP Media Center Edition and I have McAfee Virus Scan/firewall stuff. If anyone has any ideas for why this might be happening please let me know. Thanks a ton in advance.

Is your XP firewall turned on? If yes, then with McAffee firewall you don't need it & should disable XP's firewall.

I presume you have win xp sp2, so you might want to consider a sp2 patch; MS & 3rd party patches

Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface?

i dont have a problem connecting, it's just keeping my regular internet connection. limewire doesn't disconnect, but like the internet and stuff. It can't find my internet connection anymore (i'm wireless)

my problem still hasn't bene fixed. any advise would help. my limewire connects, but after running for a few minutes it disconnects my internet. why? plz help!!!!!!
