I can't figure it out... Maybe someone could provide some insight... I know it says in the FAQ that some colleges/universities block use of gnutella, so it's impossible to connect. I am on a college campus, but I know that my college doesn't block the use of this kind of software (they just put it on a low priority on the server so it goes slower). My roommate is able to use audiogalaxy, for instance, and downloads files often. But, I am unable to even connect to gnutella-- my college says that this shouldn't really be a problem (just downloading should be slow if I do get through). Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to change something in some configuration to make LimeWire work? If anyone can offer any advice, I'd really appreciate it. |
