![]() Before, I could download music files from LimeWire, and everything worked fine. However now, I have a problem. I am connected to the internet, and once I have searched something (eg. "Iron Maiden") the screen loads up as before. Once I double click an option (eg. "2 " 2******t"), and it appears at the bottom, my trouble begins. Under Status, it says "Connecting..." for a couple of minutes, then, it changes to "Need More Sources". I know this cannot be, as there are roughly 50 people with this file. I then tried downloading other versions of the song, and other songs, but the same thing happens. Thanks for any help! Edited to comply with the House Rules. ![]() I'm using LimeWire Basic 4.12.6, so it's different. I tried downloading what is probably the same file - 48 hosts, 128kbps. Speed - T3 or Higher. It just stays "Connecting" for a very long time then changes to "Need More Sources" |

![]() I mean try to search for 2" and see if that changes anything. There are so many spamresults popping up lately that there is no way of telling if it's a Limewire problem or a spamresult problem Last edited by Lord of the Rings; September 6th, 2006 at 01:07 PM. |

![]() Oh right ok. I'm trying that now. I'll report back in a couple of minutes... Thanks for all your help so far. EDIT: I see why you said search audio..... EDIT2: There were 45 hosts for me.... trying to download now. EDIT3: Oh my Lord it's working. How did you do that? What tips do you recommend for finding the right result the whole time? Thanks! |

![]() sometimes. Depends on the spamresults. Maybe I should put that in my guide Have a look at this Guide (just bookmark it cause it's long) http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showthread.php?t=56904 I'll have the forum administrator have a look at this thread and if this is not allowed then don't be shocked if it's suddently gone  |
