 College net and Limewire Does anyone have a suggestion how to get around the firewall on my college's campus? They seem to have blocked all p2p sharing ports. I've tried to configure a proxy but it hasn't been working.  |

| No not really. Some uni's have their own custom designed p2p filters & blockers. If proxies aren't working then prolly nothing will. There's are a no. of proxy options; see page 2+ here A Fix for those whose ISP's block Limewire pages 1 - 3 which have links to alternative instructions. And perhaps see Another Insight proxy solution |

| hey, i was thinking i was going to have the same problem, but, when i started up limewire it would never connect. So i figured hey, lets unplug the LAN line from my laptop and try running it wirelessly, and it works so far, I'm not sure whether or not I'll get tracked or in trouble but hope it helps. |
