Error: Lime wire in unable to connect...
 

I continue to get the message:

Limewire was unable to initialize and start. This is usually due to a firewall program blocking Limewire access to the internet or loopback connections to the local machine. Please allow Limewire access to the internet and restart Limewire.

Now I have gone on Limewire and followed the troubleshooting.. didn't work
I went throught the form.. added ports, checked page "You passed the test", uninstalled and reinstalled

It worked for months and one day it stopped.....please help:eek:

1. Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page.)

2. Check the options here (also see post at bottom of page): Connection problems? Check here first! (click on link)

It's still not working
 

It is still not working when, i ran the Run As, it advised me to uninstall, which i did and i still continue to get the same message...........................

'loopback connections to the local machine' are usually due to unconfigured routers. And you didn't seem to take any notice of no. 2 above so I can't really help any more sorry. Since the 2nd post in that link simply follows the forum rules which you obviously didn't read. If you don't have time to read answers & ... then .. :rolleyes: :D
