cannot connect
 

When i open limewire i cannot connect. if i open the connections screen it shows that limewire is not connecting to any hosts and if i try and manually connect using the add button then it still does not start connecting and nothing appears on the screen

Does anyone know how to get around this problem cos ive already uninstalled and reinstalled limewire several times and nothing works

Could highly possibly be a firewall problem. See both posts here Connection problems? Check here first! (click on link).

Look at (a) Configuring Software firewall, (b) enabling UPnP if your modem/router supports it but has an internal NAT firewall,
(c) forwarding a port if your device doesn't support UPnP. (d) Check last post for info we need if you're lost!
