Default Firewall problem

Hallo

I have a firewall problem. When I use my LW Pro I see in the bottom that I am firewaled. I have a 128 k connection and a wireless internet. But I get only 3kb/s of download even when my source is a T3 or higher.

Well I am using a Kaspersky 6 protection and there is a firewall within. So I thoguht that it is making this download slow. But even when I turn off Kaspersky completely the speed remains slow and still I have some firewall ?!

LW still shows that I am firewalled?

Could it be some kind of a wireless LAN firewall? How can I solve this problem?

Thank you.

ALmost all wireless devices have internal NAT firewalls. What you need to do is enable UPnP on the device if it supports UPnP, else forward a port. What brand & model is it? Also you should configure your XP firewall or any other firewall you're using. See tips here Connection problems? Check here first! (click on link)

"ALmost all wireless devices have internal NAT firewalls. What you need to do is enable UPnP on the device if it supports UPnP, else forward a port. "

I don't have any wireless devices .. Cause the provider's main antena is placed at the roof of mu building... so I didn't have to by any additional devices but only a cable and to connect directly to the antena.

Others have to by a small antena and to make a real wirelles antena... Me, I am directly connected to server by cable.

SO do I have to do things with UPnP also? Or just forward a port?

"Also you should configure your XP firewall or any other firewall you're using. "

No... My Win XP FW is off... And the one I used is Kaspersky... But I also turned it off. So I have no firewalls.

You should have a firewall active, but make exceptions for LW to be able to pass through.

If your device supports UPnP then all you need to do is enable UPnP. If it doesn't support UPnP then forward a port.
