Dropped Connection

Limewire used to work just fine and I've done nothing as far as changing anything about my internet connection. The problem occurs at random times and not always. While I'm in the middle of downloading a file everything will be fine and then all of a sudden the download speed will drop gradually down to zero and I have to restart my computer to regain internet access. Has anyone else encountered this problem?!? This is starting to be VERY frustrating and any help I can get will be most appreciated.

Don't use the Resume/Find Sources function on all your incompletes because that can be one of it's side effect. If you use it then just on 1-3 at a time.

Also try this: Tip: Purge the Downloads Queue!

Even when I don't use the resume/find sources it still shuts down my internet connection. The problem isn't JUST with Limewire... it occurs any time I use a p2p connection... even BitTorrent. If there's some kind of configuration change that I need to make to my network connections or anything else I'd really like some help. Thanks.
