Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network.

![]() hey guys, since yesterday,limewire was working perfectly..awhile ago, i noticed a brick wall in front of the blue globe..apparently limewire has detected a firewall..but i did not change anything!!..i'm using limewire PRO 4.12.6..althought i swtiched off wndows firewall, i'm still seeing the brick wall..also, i;ve checked the exceptions tab, and enabled the UPnP Framewor, Limewire..but still nothing's changed..i'm suing windows xp professional edition.. i also tried the steps given in limewire's support page, i.e entering the 'gnutella IP address' and the 'listen on port number 'for the network connection settings (UDP and TCP) but i'm still seeing the brick wall..i've also removed limewire and downloaded it again, installed it..but still,nothing's changed..i'm lost for solutions..please help..... |

![]() Then the problem is probably your modem/router that you connect thru. Enabling UPnP should also be done on this device since most high speed connection devices have internal NAT firewalls. Don't turn your software firewall off for your own security. Have a look at the brand & model of your device & enable UPnP on it.
