Default Limewire detects Firewall

Hi, my Limewire keep saying he detects a firewall.

When i go to http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ it says "Your test worked!"

I did these things too
Quote:
WINDOWS XP INTERNET CONNECTION FIREWALL:
Within LimeWire, go to: Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> Firewall Config
Make a note of the Listening Port located in the box next to "Listen on Port"
Go to Start -> Control Panel
Open Network Connections
Right Click on the connection you use to connect to the network
Choose Properties
Go to the Advanced Tab
If your Firewalled is Enabled go to step 10
If you want to enable Windows XP Firewall check the box (this will enable the "settings" button. If you are not interested in enabling your Windows XP Firewall, hit cancel -- LimeWire will not be affected, and you may stop following these instructions.
Under Windows Firewall Options, Go to the Advanced Tab.
Select Internet connection used. (Local area network or the name of your connection)
Click the Setting button
Click the "Add..." button
In the description field add "Gnutella"
Set the IP address to "127.0.0.1"
Check the TCP Radio button
Set the external and internal ports to the same port that you made a note of in step 2
Press OK
Repeat steps 13 to 16, except this time check the UDP radio button in step 16
Make sure the list of services has two items listed Gnutella, and make sure they are both checked.
Click OK
I did open NAT port in my router (UDP and TPC).

I did @ my router:
- Enable UPNP Service
- Enable Connection control Service

Enabling UPnP should be fine. If it supports UPnP then nothing should need to be done except enabling UPnP. However, that depends how well UPnP on your device works. Some brands use different UPnP technology & aren't very reliable, in which case port forwarding is better. http://www.portforward.com/routers.htm

I'm not sure about setting up XP firewall because I don't have XP.

Dhyane Rai Please answer the questions here http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showpo...91&postcount=2

Even with Windows Firewall off it says it detects a Firewall, so it must be my router. Ill try ure link now. Ty! ^^

edit: Its my Windows XP Firewall.. -_- I just tried again, no firewall detection anymore.

edit: Nvm, it works now ^^ Ty for your help! UPNP was default on off, that caused the firewall problem.

I¨ve no router. ram 512, broad band, connecting at my home, no Xp firewall, lw 4.12.11 java 5.0. I´ve tried the test and it worked. I´m not sharing connections. I see the brick i front de globe all the time.

What happens when you try to download a file (we can't guess)? Does the file just sit there & not move into the download pane, or does it sit connecting for ages & then get stuck needing sources forever??

If you see a brick wall in front of the globe, there's a firewall problem somewhere. What are your details?
