Yea, but they got their money. Sounds like a scam to me. I didn't know we had to be computer wizards to run this stuff, I'm used to buying something like a program or software and it actually WORKS ! But it looks like all we are going to get is " the problem is on your end " excuse. Look at the lw homepage, it states that it's " Ease of use - just install, run, and search "
LOL, yea right. I hope Paypal can get my money back.

Is there no Router with similar modelnumber there. It might be very similar to configure looking almost the same, making it easy to configure yours.

I not then take screenshots of where it differs from the others and attach them here (well explained off course )

Check under section 2 (Setting up UPnP (Universal Plug & Play) on your modem/router) & scroll down to USRobotics & follow directions & make sure UPnP is enabled on your device! http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=51357 There's a link there to instructions of how to do it if you need more help. Some devices you need to save & reboot in order to save the new setting properly. I don't know about your brand.

Also, if you're using McAffee firewall then ensure XP firewall is disabled. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...842#post178842

Type http://192.168.123.254 into your browser & tell us what happens?

You should see a box prompting you for your password. Enter your password now. By default your password is blank. Click the Ok button to log in to your router.

http://www.usr.com/support/8054/8054...tml#Management

Also see http://www.portforward.com/english/r...4/Limewire.htm

ie: click on the management tab. There you will see UPnP option.

Lord, Is there any way i can tell if my isp is blocking limewire ? some kind of a test ? and can i get around it in any way, i'm not to comp. savy when it gets that deep so i thought there might be an easy way to do it. I really need a test done to see if they have it blocked. All my firewalls in xp are turned off and i took my router out of the loop. I use camvera networks isp and have a navini modem. I'ts a wireless service becaise i live in the sticks, lw has worked fine in the past up until a few days ago, thanks

Try downloading a magnet link from a site: http://www.magnetmix.com/video.shtml

If LW won't do it, try another gnutella p2p program. Some other options, you might try FrostWire or Phex to see if you have the same problems.
