Can connect but can't download
 

Okay, so Yesterday my limewire was working fine, downloading and all that, then today I started limewire and it connected and everything was fine, I searched a song tried to download and it just said "connecting..." for like 5 to 10 minutes then says "Needs More Sources" but it can't find any. It does this for every and any song i try to download. I already had limewire set up to move around my firewall and I tried the deleteing preferance thing but nothing works. Does anyone have any ideas? because I am pretty confused. :confused:

You're not alone buddy. Im having the same problem. I cant download anything and my limewire is connected. In fact its turbo charged. I dont understand, it was workin fine until today. I even went outta my way and bought limewire pro and this $@!# still is f***** up. Someone plz help me before I destroy my computer with a sledgehammer.

You've all been spammed by fake file results. It's been getting worse for copyright files be they audio or video. See Recognising fake files

If you do a search & get over a thousand results then 98% will be fake. Instead choose those with just a few hosts. And btw modem users are safe to choose to downld from. These spammers tend to work over certain times of day so some hours of fake file spamming will be worse than others.
