Default LW Auto-opens multiple instances

Limewire will automatically open up multiple instances of itself so that I can have around 10 to 15 running. I have tried deleting it and reinstalling but it didnt work. Has anyone else had this problem?

Could be a virus similar to this one:
http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showthread.php?t=41432
Try any of these programs to scan your system (I reckon using all of them):
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/(free)

http://www.grisoft.com(good free AVG)

http://www.ewido.com(free trial which can still be used and updated after the period has ended -the best in my opinion)

http://www.ccleaner.com/download/(free)

Spybot - Search & Destroy (FREE)

If you can't get rid of it go here and get some free computer help:

It might also be connected to a Java issue. Uninstall LW and all Java versions on your system. Reboot and then download the JRE offline installer of the newest Java version from here:
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/download.jsp
Install it and reboot again, then reinstall LW.
