![]() I had LW on a previous laptop and it worked perfectly everytime without having to bother with anything. i now have a new laptop and used the same zip file (i kept it on an external harddrive) and now LW wont work. I've checked my proxy setting and my ports. I've completely turned off my firewalls to still have the wall on the globe, and also set the exceptions in my firewalls. I've setup the Gnutellas in network settings and followed every help file i can find that has a ariance from another and nothing works. all that happens is that LW stays on " Connecting to network" then displays an error message sayin that I'm either firewalled or that my internet is not connected. Both o these oints are untrue. i am currently in a student residential site, and ealise they may restruct bandwith. but i have managed to get a different p2p program working. but it is slow, and i prefer the format of LW. Is there is just a general problem with LW at the moment or is there maybe something else i should do? I appreciate any help anyone can offer. thanks |
