How do i stop limewire opening itself up all the time????

I re-installed the programme and have unticked the automatic connection function but now it starts up all the time, every 2 minutes its starting itself up and using computer resources, i just wnat it on the desktop for when i wnat to use it.

Any ideas??????

I need to stop it starting up all the time.

Always make sure that you're using a good AV program. Keep it updated & scan all downloaded files before opening.
