i cant get it to play!!
 

i cant get limewire to play..... i have tried everything....... i did the connecting to a new host thing such as i tunes..... i did the tools> options> player thing but it wont work plz help me!!!:bangh:

You posted in the Connection Problems section. Is it your LW can't connect or you can't play a file with iTunes?

Are you running windows or mac or .... ? Which is your default audio player?

After unchecking player in LW, you need to restart LW.

I cant listen to LW music or itunes music...... im running windows....... i dont know what you mean default audio player......... when i unchecked it, it went strait to itunes and that is not working...... im very confused im sorry

What about CD playback...does that work ok?

To change your default player, open your saved folder outside of LW (go to the LW library, click on Saved Files then click Explore...folder opens). Right click on a file > open with > choose program > select the player you want. Tick the box to always use the selected program to open files of this type > ok. Try another player other than iTunes & see what happens.

Go to your shared folder (outside of limewire)
Right click on a music file
Select open with
select itunes
and tick the box that says always open this file type with this program....:rolleyes_2:

If nothing's working sound-wise, you could check your sound & audio devices (in Control Panel)...make sure things aren't muted & that volume looks ok.
