 Firewall shows when it never did before, dir-655, upnp hi all, i am using WinXP with SP2. i have a dlink dir-655 router, its pretty sweet. i have comcast for internet. it has upnp turned on. i have been using limewire for quite a while... when it was 4.10.x it never had any problems connecting. since then, i have upgraded both limewire (to 4.16.1) and the router firmware to the newest available. i don't know at exactly what point, but sometime after 4.12 to 4.14 [i think] the stupid firewall wouldn't go away. it always used to. i still get five green bars, but like i just said, the wall is still there. it seems to me that LW should still be able to upnp my router, b/c its still cofigured to be able to do so, (both the program and the router) i can't be the only person having this issue, it feels like a new problem thats worked into all these new releases of LW. any ideas? help?? suggestions? thx.  |
