can someone help me because i need help.
i just downloaded the basic version now a message comes up saying that waiting for connection buT then nothing happens.

what can i do???

Keep in mind you will have a software firewall, & if you have a fast connection then most likely an internal NAT firewall within your connection device (modem/router.)

to the lord of the ringhi I am a very new user of the computer never mind limewire, but I am like a dog with a bone I wont let go. I am on Vista and I had downloaded Lime ware and it was terrific. I went to use it about four days ago and it would not open. Found gnutella and got the answer I wantesd uninstalled java and limeware then reinstalled and hi preto it opened thought I was on to a winner however when I go to search for a song nothing happens. The only thing I can tell you is that the blue earth on the bottom left corner has a wall in front of it, and looking to see my firewall it appears I have windows firewall with advanced I dont know what that means as I have said before I am a complete novice could you please try and help in novice language. I would be very obliged.
