Did you uninstall LW through add/remove programs? That's not the right way. The right way is via start > all progs > click on LW & use the uninstall option. You could try reinstalling LW (this should uninstall the previous version), then uninstalling the correct way. **Were you having a problem with LW constantly popping up & refusing to stay closed? Just asking because there's a virus that causes this & even after uninstalling LW the virus remains & can cause these popups. If you did have that original problem with LW, check out the link below for more info. If you didn't...ignore it:D http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...d=1#post235388 |
How do I create a playlist, library ? I am new to Lime Wire and almost computer illiterate, any tips would be greatly appreciated. Also, how safe is this site from viruses and the like ? Thanks |
Quote:
Try this link (Playlist) -- Re viruses -- this site is only as safe as the person/host that you are downloading from -- that is if they don't practise safe computer security (updated antivirus software , firewall enabled)you could be in trouble -- have a look at this link (viruses you should be aware of) Hope this helps. Also next time you have a problem pse start a new thread -- don't just add it on to someone elses 2 year old thread |
