All seems OK but isn't!!!
 
I recently started to use 360 share program which is basically the same program, all was working Ok. One week ago it would not connect and was only showing one green bar. I removed 360 share and downloaded LW ( version 4.0.8 ) which, loaded Ok and even had my previous downloads in the libary. However it will still not connect. I have read many of the threads on connection problems and tried them all, but still not connecting. Altered ports, only useing 1 firewall ( Norton) which is set to permit LW. Removed .Limewire folder etc.
My System is Windows XP (sp2) with Norton Internet security. I have tried the test page link from one of the threads that was OK. The computer is not being shared. My router is a Netopia and useing DSL.
So any suggestions, could my isp have recently blocked me ( eircom.net) or is there a problem elsewhere

considering the terms of service of your ISP: http://www.eircom.ie/bveircom/pdf/adsl.pdf its quite possible they are shaping packets and blocking access to the gnutella network....a quick call to tech support will probably clarify the situation

360Share uses old technology & LW 4.0.8 is an obsolete version of LW from 2 & half years ago. Why didn't you download it from the "official" site instead of from a scam site?
