Internet Explorer 7 error at start up (problem solved!!!)

I was pondering the usual question - "Is it me?"
I have used LW (Basic) for a few years, and updated whenever needed. A few days ago I upgraded my browser to Internet Explorer 7. Now LW won't even start.
1. I have reloaded from the LW site, recommended Windows version ... no good.
2. Complete un-install of LW, followed by a search and manual delete of anything left and a clean re-install, the system worked.
3. Switch off (bedtime) and restart in the morning ... no good.
4. Repeat step 2. OK.
5. System restart ... no good.

The error I get is a Microsoft error box, the basic information is:

AppName: limewire.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: limewire.exe
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00002347

My system details (as requested) are:
OS Windows XP Pro SP2, fully up to date.
Browser Internet Explorer 7
RAM 2048MB or 2 Gigs
HDD space 67% of 250GB You work it out.
Con type ADSL (1.1Mb/256Kb)
Modem Voyager 205
Router Netgear MR814 v3
Connecting from home
LW Version 4.12.6
ISP Orange internet (Wanadoo)
The test page advised worked correctly
Does 800+ tracks downloaded count as an experienced user?
My firewall is Zone Alarm, but that has never thrown a problem in the past, it is set up for Limewire.

It seems to me that there could be a bit of a problem when trying to run Limewire on Internet Explorer 7. Has anyone else come across this, please?

Regards, Brian.

Startup Problem

I recently reported a problem with LW apparently caused by Internet Explorer 7. You can find that message here.
It now transpires that the problem was actually with "Microsoft Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2003", which was installed at more or less the same time.
There seems to be a known issue with this application and an update and service pack have been issued by MS.
The difficulty seems to have been fixed.
Regards, Brian.
