My ISP limits my bandwidth on Limewire. How do i get around it where they do not know that i am using a P2P so that my speed can increase?

Your questions are simple and straight forward:Basically, you can't because your ISP has installed equipment that specifically looks for P2P traffic.

You also asked:All ISPs automatically monitor their customers network usage, so there is no way they will not know what you are doing and, if the authorities want it, provide a log of the times, dates, web-sites visited and/or amounts uploaded or downloaded.

You should remember that your ISP is a computerised organisation where everything is automatically recorded and checked then, if something out of the ordinary pops up, is flagged for human inspection.

So, unless you have a bunch of sophisticated computers to hand or are a computer genius then the only choice you really have to to find another ISP that does not have an anti-P2P policy. However, that is becoming increasingly hard to find because ISPs the world over seem to be installing anti-P2P equipment.
