ndobbins is flying high
Default Firewall Issue

never seemed to have this problem before.................when starting limewire i get the message "unable to start or initialize....this is usually due to a firewall that is blocking access"
I disabled firewall, but still getting same message........any idea's?

Please give us details as asked for here: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showthread.php?t=62652 make sure you give exact details of firewalls installed whether switched on or off and modem and or Router details

what firewall do you have?

if its Norton's, then I think it is having one of its periodic nervous breakdowns, and you will need to completely uninstall it, then reinstall...and yes, this nervous breakdown is present even when the firewall is disabled...bleh...have seen this a couple of times on my systems
