so GOT A FIX FOR THIS. my limewire didn't startup for 4 weeks, tried everything in this forum, i was getting pissed, SO I just did a sysytem recovery and NOW IT WORKS , THANK U GOD..

I am having the same problem. I have LW 4.12.3 Pro. Under teh connections it keeps changing HELP
Heres my info

See ISP's known to BLOCK or Filter p2p or specifically Limewire as Charter is mentioned as a shaper of those who use large amounts of download bandwidths. This may or may not also be related to your brickwall you're seeing. But wireless devices have internal nat firewalls anyway. So you need to enable UPnP if it supports a good version of it or at all, or else port forward.

the funny things is that it worked liek two weeks ago but the speeds were low

That probably means you've downlded so much since then that it has come under their notice of your downld bandwidth totality. Well ... as an experiment for the benefit of both you & us knowing, try downlding a magnet link from here http://www.magnetmix.com/video.shtml & tell us what happens. If it's slow then that proves your isp is shaping p2p use!
