Limewire does not open when clicked on

Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network. (not about connecting to files, that is a Download/Upload Problems section issue.) Please supply system details as described in the forum rules.

Limewire does not open when clicked on

i had limewire before and deleted it, then starting a long time ago i kept on trying to download it again. everything went fine until it creates a shortcut to the desktop like it should. then when i try clicking it, it just has that loading thing for about half a second and then it never opens. i know it has nothing to do with my security and stuff like that cuz i only got the windows security center and thats all (it turned off) please help me out. why dosent it open?
