Maybe if you give some info
System details - help us to help you

Have you been through this sticky?
Connection problems? Check here first!

If you're seeing the firewall icon, the problem's not necessarily with your ZA...could be an issue with a modem/router. Check that sticky for lots of helpful info.

ZA config but if you're using windows xp, make sure your xp firewall is turned off; (never run 2 software firewalls at the same time, it results in less security, not more!!! As well as conflicts with firewall with LW) Disabling XP firewall no matter which set up you have

I've been having the same problem too, I used LW for about a year now, and ive tried configuring my Firewall, changing ports, everything!
My internet company swiched to a different name a few days ago, thats about when it started, would that have any thing to do with it?
Any suggestions?

Humbolt,
everything remains the same for me ..no internet provider changes..its like my subscription ran out..and I'm good there until Jan.
But If i cant get this resolved..I will be going somewhere else,It sucks to pay money and not use the program for over a month.

slepage,

6. Are there any boxes that your computer connects to (between your computer & your connection point at the wall)? If there are, look for brand & model numbers...look underneath too.

13. When LW is open, right click on the bottom bar (where you see your connection status & number of shared files etc)...make sure that Show Firewall Status is ticked:wink: Now you should be able to see the blue globe.

Did you double check that your XP firewall was off & also check the ZA config (see the link that Botox left)?

Humboldt,
How can anyone help you if you don't give any details??

That's for slepage...they don't have their firewall status showing.

Do you see the firewall icon?
What OS are you using?
What type of connection do you have?
Who is your ISP?
Does the port 6346 test work?
Where are you connecting from?
What version of LW & Java do you have?
Are you sharing a connection with other computers?

If you do see the firewall icon, have you tried reconfiguring Norton's firewall?
