![]() This is the 2nd time i posted, last time no one helped me, and a kind person recomended me to post it again, i hope i get some help this time. I've always been used to having a couple of p2p softwares in case i dont find something i want. Limewire's always been one of them. I got this new laptop and downloaded limewire. Now, it neeever connects!!! It just stays there trying to. And the little computers in the system tray (the ones that say if you are online) they are just off, the internet connection is not even doing anything, when i start the browser they turn blue again, but limewire neeever connects!! and the other p2p software wont connect either. Can you please help me??? Here are the system details: 1. Windows XP SP2 2. I only have Windows default firewall 3. Im not sure about the ram, i think its 500 MB or less 4. I have 10GB available 5. Its a dialup modem, connects through a cellphone 6. Its a Motorola USB Modem, and i dont think it has a router 7. I always use it in my house 8. I have Limewire Basic 4.12 9. Its called ICE 10.The server at www3.limewire.com is taking too long to respond 11.Like i said i have another p2p program and that one wont connect either 12.I've had it for about six months, but in another computer. 13.The little brick wall is there, wich is kinda strange cause the firewall is disabled. Something else i'd like to say is that this may be an isp issue, so i tried the changing ports thing, http tunnel, proxies, etc... and none of those worked. I dont have the economical resources to change my internet service provider. There must a way to avoid it. I'd be glad if someone could help me. Thanks!!! ![]() ![]() |
