Serious Crash Issues

I have been a loyal user for many years now; Im having major problems:
It works great for 20 seconds it peaks in bandwith (i check the statistics) and then it crashes to 0 and remains that way even though it says it "downloading from 10 sources" after that it goes from turbo to connecting. Its so bad that my internet stops working after the crash. I contacted my ISP (Verizon) and notify me that it doesnt block any P2P but instead sent me another new Versalink router but the problem persists. I also port-forward to 6346 on both links in advance firewal config to see if that was the problem but that wasnt it. I also did a xp repair but that wasnt it. I have uninstall both Java and Limewire but that wasnt it. Can you please help me?

Try using another port eg. from 50000 to 65000, (6346 is oftern blocked)
Also make sure you have created a static IP before you port faward.
If your Router has UPNP then try enableing it.
Peace.
